Here are all the answers to those questions you ask about BARTER
Does barter work for all products?
Yes. Barter works for every sector ( food, automotive, beauty, ..etc). Any Company can benefit from this system.
Is it better to use Barter system than liquidating by cash? Why?
The overstock, especially when it becomes obsolete (eg. promotions or products from last season) or with short expiration dates could being liquidated by cash discounts. However, it could represent a risk to our pricing strategy, becoming a precedent in market and with our clients. With Barter, the product does not compete with your own clients or regular sales channels.
What happens with my Brand / Product? Where would it be sold then?
The Brand / Product owner establish the channel or markets prohibited for barter activity. So, you would indicate Just Barter where we cannot sell. However, there are many selling alternatives: other markets / countries, alternative channels, events, special activities, etc.. The client approval will always be previously requested and agreed.
May I block clients-markets-channels from Barter?
Yes. In every barter transaction the client has always the last word and it could change upon your needs.
Do I have to deliver the stock?
No. Just Barter can manage the transport and delivery, so stock could be picked-up directly from your own warehouse. If you prefer to deliver yourself we can agree.
Can I only have Advertising as Barter benefit from my product?
No. Advertising is, in fact, the most requested action because it’s an extra-support to the brands. However, some clients prefer other services like travel gifts, merchandising, etc..
Are there no additional commissions? Sure?
No. There are no additional commissions. You can be sure about this. The Bartering with Just Barter is 100% barter, without surprises nor small prints.
When do I have to spend the balance of the barter?
You can spend the balance when you need it. The balance is open until you want to use it. There is a constant follow-up to remind the status but you decide the timing.
Needs the barter balance to be used with the same product / brand?
No. The client can decide which is the product / brand from his portfolio that needs the extra-support. So you can use one product for the barter and spend the advertising with another one.
What happens if it is an over-production extrastock instead of an obsolete stock?
Any kind of product / stock could be considered for barter.
Which Departament is benefited from the barter?
The overall Company is benefited from the barter. Marketing gets additional budget to complement brand support, Sales liquidates obsolete stock so that sales force can focus on priority portfolio instead of being busy liquidating old stock, Logistics gets free space in warehouse thus decreasing cost and finally, Finance can registrate the Cash Flow improvement.
